He's all about max effort and intervals it is great stuff.Michael Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08796783529968056287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3646884193073970174.post-27384923036260910142009-12-10T14:48:43.062-05:002009-12-10T14:48:43.062-05:00Sean is referring to OPT's programming. It is t...Sean is referring to OPT's programming. It is the shit, the guy who won the Taranis Crossfit Challenge follows it. There is some serious thought that goes into his Big Dawg Programming.I will most likely mix in a few cycles of OPT & main page, but my main template will be Coach Rut's M.E Blackbox.Ben Wheelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05061480020753445442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3646884193073970174.post-1034972866684065542009-12-10T12:38:58.625-05:002009-12-10T12:38:58.625-05:00By Big Dawg do you mean regular RX CFit programmin...By Big Dawg do you mean regular RX CFit programming? All the big monsters do Main page plus extra strength stuff. The games and qualifiers for the most part use weight schemes way heavier than the .com does. I want to make sure we are ready for anything at the sectional qualifiers. this is all prep work before starting a periodized volume, recovery, intensity (mon, wed, fri) program of high rep wods (angie), quick fire lung wods(fran) and then heavy hard wods(3rnds of 5reps 185 C&J, 10reps 2pood KB swings, 15 K2E).Michael Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08796783529968056287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3646884193073970174.post-16763234004468019122009-12-09T22:12:56.391-05:002009-12-09T22:12:56.391-05:00murph what do you think about doing big dawg progr...murph what do you think about doing big dawg programming. I think we will be doing a MEBB type program for sure I'm just trying to figure out which exercises. it all depends on how many days a week we workout. I think 3 lift days a week is good to start since you are doing a different lift each session you get lots of recovery. We will probably do this for 4-6 weeks and then I want to swith to a more periodized program gearing up to sectional qualifiers to maximize results.Michael Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08796783529968056287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3646884193073970174.post-89154101245173818932009-12-07T23:30:44.456-05:002009-12-07T23:30:44.456-05:00This is wicked! Seems to be a solid way to approach it, many guys are following this type of programming with great success.Ben Wheelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05061480020753445442noreply@blogger.com
